Forest Therapy Tours
All Forest Therapy Walks follow a standard sequence as developed by ANFT (Association of Nature and Forest Therapy), but every walk is unique since it’s in partnership with the natural world.
To Start
After a brief welcome and overview, a guided meditation will help the participant deepen into their senses, followed by a series of invitations to explore the natural world around us more deeply while using our senses.
What to expect
Opportunities will be created to share (if inspired to do so) what we are noticing throughout and to practice deep listening while others share. Near the end of our walk is a tea offering and an opportunity for us to thank the forest or more-than-human-world, and share anything to help us make our experience feel complete and help to transition back to our daily lives.
"Forest Therapy offers the opportunity to slow down, find peace and tranquility, de-stress, and get grounded. It feels nourishing to be immersed in the outdoors, to be enveloped by the trees, and to be surrounded by the sounds of nature." -EL
Private Tours
A private Forest Therapy Walk can be offered for 1-2 people. This session can be a special way to mark a personal milestone, or celebration, or deepen one’s personal connection to nature. This can be a simple scheduling for self or with a partner or friend.
“Highly recommended! This is a perfect “dip your toes” into the Alaskan Forest to experience more of nature without fear of the wild. Conveniently located close to cruise ship dock with fairly easy walking.” -SMP
